Iran Warns US and Allies Against Renewed Escalation, Promises Stronger Response

(MENAFN) Iran has issued a warning to the United States and its regional partners, cautioning against what it called a “strategic mistake” amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

A senior Iranian military official, Ali Abdollahi, said Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared and remain on high alert for any potential renewed attacks. His remarks were carried by Iranian state media.

He stated that Iran’s military readiness has increased significantly, adding that any hostile action would be met with a “swift, decisive, powerful and large-scale” response. He further warned that Iran’s adversaries should not miscalculate the country’s defensive capabilities.

Abdollahi emphasized that Iran has already demonstrated its military capacity in previous confrontations and suggested that any future escalation would trigger an even stronger reaction than before.

He also said Iranian forces are prepared to defend national interests “with all our power,” warning that any aggressor would face severe consequences.

The warning comes amid sustained regional instability following earlier military exchanges involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, as well as ongoing diplomatic tensions over security in the Gulf region and maritime routes such as the Strait of Hormuz.
