NEW FROM WASHINGTON POST: Michael Whatley Doubles Down On Lie That “Prices Were Down”
In new reporting from the Washington Post today, Michael Whatley and his campaign lied ONCE AGAIN that prices went down – a fact every North Carolina family knows is just wrong.
Washington Post: “‘Prices were down considerably in 2025 […]’ [Whatley’s communications director DJ] Griffin said. That point is not entirely correct: Inflation was lower in 2025 than the highs in 2022, but prices did not fall.”
As prices soar in North Carolina, Whatley could not be more out-of-touch. This follows a long pattern of Whatley lying about prices, all while he further enriches himself from the Iran War.
Washington Post: “‘Grocery prices are down, gasoline prices are down, housing prices are down, inflation is down,’ Whatley says”
Michael Whatley: “There is no inflation. Inflation has fallen off a cliff.”
Michael Whatley: “The fact is that inflation is down.”
